How it works
Set up properly once, then it just runs.
Here's what onboarding actually involves today — including the parts that take real effort on both sides.
Step 1 · Week 1
We talk first
A call, not a signup wall. We look at how you buy, count and book today, and tell you straight whether Fire Pass fits. If it doesn't, we say so.
Straight talk: There's no self-serve signup yet. Every location is opened by us, on purpose — the setup matters more than the speed.
Step 2 · Weeks 1–3
We set up your menu and inventory
Send us your menu, supplier invoices and whatever stock list you have — a spreadsheet, a photo of a clipboard, anything. We load products, packs, sizes and counting units, then build your recipes and plate costs.
Straight talk: This is the real work of onboarding, and it's hands-on. Expect a couple of sessions with us to confirm units and pricing, because a wrong pack size quietly poisons every cost figure after it.
Step 3 · From week 3
Your team runs the day
Invoices get photographed and reconciled, stock gets counted, events get booked and checklists get ticked off. Roles decide who sees what, and staff at one location never see another's numbers.
Straight talk: Training is short because the screens follow the work, but somebody on your side has to own the daily invoice and counting habit. The system shows gaps; it can't count the shelf for you.
Step 4 · From week 3
Clients book through your own site
You get a branded ordering and booking site under your own name — menu building, guest counts, pickup ordering and event requests, landing straight in your back office.
Straight talk: Card payment is collected in the operational flow today for what you've enabled; delivery dispatch is still to come. Pickup and pay-at-pickup work now.
Step 5 · Ongoing
We stay in it
New locations, new menus, seasonal repricing and month-end questions come back to us. On the higher tiers we do the bookkeeping side with you rather than handing you a manual.
Straight talk: Support is direct with us — you're not filing a ticket into a queue.
Most operations are running day-to-day within about three weeks of the first call.
