About
This started in a walk-in, not a whiteboard.
Fire Pass exists because of one restaurant's inventory, and it was a mess. Counts on scraps of paper. A case of one thing counted as a bottle of another. Invoices in a shoe box, and a plate price that hadn't been checked since the last time the supplier raised it. Nobody was lazy — the kitchen was busy, and the tools they'd been given asked them to think like an accountant in the middle of service.
So the work got done by hand, on site. Rebuilding the product list so a case was a case and a bottle was a bottle. Sitting with supplier invoices line by line to find what was actually being paid. Costing recipes properly, then watching the real margin appear — and, in a few cases, watching a popular dish turn out to be losing money on every cover.
That fix worked, but it wasn't repeatable. Everything holding it up was a spreadsheet and a memory. So the same process got built into software — the counting units, the invoice review, the recipe costs, then the bookings and the leads that fed the kitchen in the first place. It ran for a real catering operation before it was ever sold to anyone.
That's the whole difference. Fire Pass wasn't designed for restaurants from the outside. It was built by someone who had already done the tedious part by hand and never wanted an operator to have to do it that way again.
It's made by Deelah Systems, and it's still small on purpose. When you call about a month-end figure or a location that needs setting up, you get the people who built it.
Built on a real shelf count
Every screen started as a job somebody was doing badly on paper. Nothing here was designed from a feature list.
Say what isn't built
If a thing is coming soon, it says coming soon — on the pricing page, in the product, and in the AI assistant that answers your questions.
One picture, not twelve tabs
Invoices, stock, events and leads are the same business. Splitting them across tools is what lets money leak.
If your stock count and your invoices don't agree, that's the conversation to have.
